The Australian Psychological Society publishes a recommended schedule of fees for psychologists providing private psychology services. Our fees are guided by, but are not directly aligned with the Australian Psychology Society's recommended fees.
You can download our current Schedule of Fees here.
Please get in touch to discuss fees applicable for consultations with us. Please note that report writing and support letters may attract an additional fee.
If your GP referred you under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. This significantly reduces the cost of individual and group therapy sessions. Please see Medicare Item Codes for the current Medicare rebate for an appointment. You must provide a copy of your referral and MHTP prior to or at your initial appointment to obtain this rebate.
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to access rebates for psychology. Please contact your insurance provider to check your eligibility.
Fees are payable at the end of your appointment unless prior arrangement has been made for a third party to cover the cost of sessions. Payment for face-to-face appointments can be made via EFTPOS or credit card. If eligible, Medicare can be processed automatically for you following processing of payment. If you wish to claim rebates manually or from a private health insurer you will be provided with a paid invoice once payment has been received.
For telehealth appointments payment can be made either by:
Direct deposit - An invoice will be sent to you at the end of your session with bank details for payment. Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
Debit / Credit card - We prefer this method. Payments are processed through our practice management software. We ask for your card details at intake, and these are kept secure at all times.
